The children’s ministries of Murfreesboro are uniting on August 9, 2008 to empower our kids through prayer.  This event will consist of children’s ministries carrying a cross from Belle Aire’s pavilion to Central Middle School. 

We will end with a special prayer rally at central middle school to get children, parents, and teachers excited about making an impact for Christ in their schools.

What a wonderful opportunity this was for students, parents, and teachers to come together celebrating our mutual belief in Jesus Christ and to show support for each other.  Just as parents pray for their children, many teachers throughout this city pray daily for those same children... their students.  They pray before the school day begins, for struggles that arise throughout the day, and also they give praise for the student victories!   Crossing the 'Boro was an affirmation of our unity in Jesus Christ as well as a celebration of our love for all children. “
